I have noticed that BT Wholesale had updated my broadband availability checker as of today to addition fibre on demand 330/30. But, question is how much for installation charge, monthly cost under Plusnet with 330/30?

Wholesale monthly rental is £118.80 a month - so I assume it would be £150+ to the end user (if Plusnet were to offer it...)

There's no cost we can advise as we don't supply any FTTP offerings.
It's something we have been trialling (trials are currently closed).

Openreach gives an annual rental figure of £1,188.00
BT Wholesale price spreadsheet has monthly rental figure of £140.00
(both ex VAT)

Rip off - Why can't BT just do FTTP (not FTTPoD) as FTTP is cheapest than FTTPoD. I don't blame Plusnet not offering this because it not suitable to home users.

Isn't Hyperoptic geared towards apartments/new developments and is FTTB?
BT will trial 1Gig FTTP at some point.

Correct:
HO's business strategy is quite clear and is publicly stated by them
Basically  it is:  apartments in multiple occupancy dwellings within urban settings.
(and I'd guess that the focus on the higher end of the sector!)
Indeed it is FTTBasement
They install their equipment in the said basement of an apartment block and then distribute to the individual apartments normally by cat 6 copper.
I guess they work much like Gigaclear do in their rural business in that they would require a certain % of the apartments in a building to sign up with a direct debit to a contract before they would commit to installing.
The biggest hurdle for them might be dealing with the buildings' owners/management company rather than the residents!

Will probably cost end users around £100 a month.

Then why is FTTPoD is more expensive £200 + VAT per month? Doesn't make any sense at all.

I assume some of the initial capital costs (installation) are built into the monthly rental charge. There are also ongoing costs like maintenance etc.
I doubt Openreach will make any money from FTTP/FTTPoD for quite a long time.
