FTTP Trial Issues

We had the engineer come out on Tuesday 17th January to install our router and we were told the trial would be up and running out property in 48hrs. It's now been 5 days and we have no connection at all.

The engineer said there was an "issue with authentication" or something along those lines.

Can anyone help us as 5 days is a long time to wait for a connection after being told it would be two days, don't you think?
