FTTP Speed Increase

Hi, I've now got my FTTP connection running, but the download speed is set to 5mbps (upload 20mbps), it should be around 80mbps download. I've spoken to live chat and apparently I need to be swapped off the adsl speed onto FTTP, is there a chance one of the FTTP people could do this today to allow me to use the full speed over the weekend?

Thanks, Chris

Re: FTTP Speed Increase

Would have thought FTTP would be a lot better than 80 Mp, Virgin do a lot better than that.

Re: FTTP Speed Increase

There are different speed options depending on how tight you are..

Re: FTTP Speed Increase

Like FTTC then a choice.

My exchange does not have FTTP so never gone into prices and options.

Unless a persons FTTC is very bad and not getting near 80 Mb then I guess a consideration but if near 80 Mb then Is it worth the installation of the fibre from the cabinet or maybe FTTP goes right back to the exchange.  I'm guessing you stand the cost.
