Scenario thus Sister previously on PlusNet ADSLx2 and synched at circa 19/1 has now moved onto FTTC via PlusNet Unlimted Fibre Extra 80/20 Line went live on the 21/11 and has been rock solid with no disconnections since
I was suprised at the time it went live that the downspeed was only circa high 50's (especially given the very good ADSLx2 line speeds) and that the FTTC Upload has always been 20
BT Broadband Availability Checker showed thus

I am probably being simplistic but I would have thought that if we were achieving 20 up we should expect to get a comparable download speed eg 73.9 ....
I was wondering if a knowledgeable person could cast their eyes over the above and confirm that it would be pointless chasing PlusNet support to see if they could tweak any futher download speed on the connection.
