Wiltshire Online postcode lookup says that our cabinet is accepting orders and on the same site the exchange area update says
I'm on cabinet 3.
However the BT availability checker has no mention of FTTC for Mere postcodes or phone numbers (I've checked a couple).

I thought when I saw your post you were being overly pessimistic - it's come up as available overnight which is what I half expected (the other possibility was next working day - Tuesday).
