A data point...
I'm using a pair of Solwise 1200mbps piggy homeplugs. One downstairs. One upstairs.
On my ECI modem, after a year, just after installing my upgraded homeplugs (I was using 500mbps piggys before), I noticed my speed drop from 72mbps to 69 then to 59 over a week.
Thinking that it might be the homeplugs, I moved the downstairs one to the other side of the room from the modem and ran a cat6 cable between it and the router.
It didn't help the speed.
So I read up about the g.inp issue with ECI modems and switched the ECI modem for a Billion 8800nl.
Within a day I was back to 72mbps. However, I can also now see my stats. I'm getting maybe 200 correctable errors per day on the download. No errored seconds.
So, for me, I can see that the homeplug, situated on the other side of the room, does not appear to be affecting my VDSL connection adversely.
