Good afternoon. I had my first FTCC service installed around 3 weeks ago. I'm pretty happy so far, thanks Plusnet. I got around 5Mbps previously as I am so far from the exchange, but now with FTCC (cabinet circa 450m) I am getting aprox 68Mbps down, and 11Mbps up.
I am a little disappointed in these stats, as over the first couple of days I was synced at around 72Mbps down, and circa 16Mbps up, but following a bit of DIY in my home, and the disconnection of my router, I've never got back there.
I have the VDSL V3 faceplate, and a high quality short RJ11 router cable to my master socket from the BT HH5. No internal extension wiring whatsoever.
Can anybody advise if my speeds are likely to increase back to my original levels? I would really like to be getting >70 down and over 15 up, as I am on the 76/20 product. Perhaps somebody can advise if the stats below might reveal that there is more speed to come?
5. DSL uptime: 3 days, 16:00:52
6. Data rate: 13471 / 70133
7. Maximum data rate: 13390 / 70185
8. Noise margin: 6.1 / 5.4
9. Line attenuation: 25.3 / 19.6
10. Signal attenuation: 25.0 / 19.5

It's possible that your sync speed may increase if the DLM decides that your line is good enough quality, it may also decrease slightly further unfortunately.
Although the product is up to 76Mbps we do provide estimates at signup to give you a more realistic idea of the speeds you're likely to see. I can see that the estimates for your line are between 49.7Mbps and 66.1Mbps.

Thanks
Do my line stats for attenuation and noise margin etc give any indication?
