Extremely low download speed

Dear Plusnet support,
I am suddenly experiencing some speed issues with my fibre broadband.
I had a stable connection at max attainable rate since 29 March, then on 15 May the modem disconnected and reconnected with much lower Down Rate. I noticed it only today.
I tried to disconnect and reconnect, but no difference.
Only after powering off the modem completely, and rebooting it, it synced again at the usual rate.
Snippet of the WAN logs below.

13:53:26, 19 May. ( 135.160000) PPPoE is up - Down Rate=78120Kbps, Up Rate=19999Kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.0dB, Up=7.3dB

However, the speed (especially download) is extremely low.

Re: Extremely low download speed

Hi there, I've just been looking into this and there does seem to be an external line fault according to tests I've just carried out.

I've just reported it to Openreach and we should be able to update you within the next few days time.

Here's a link to the ticket that I opened on your account: https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=190311031
