After a problem on the BT side of the master socket the engineer replaced the cable back to the DP and checked the line "All Good" but now my download is around 16Mbps and up around 4.7Mbps latency best 40ms worst 100ms.
Previously (before the line fault) around 36Mbps down, 5.7Mbps up.
I have given it a while (abt 9 days) thinking that the very real fault I had on the line might need it to settle but it is solid at this fraction of my previous service.
It's almost as if the service has dropped back to ADSL2+
Before I raise a ticket is this wrong service type possible?
Thanks Stu

Re-run the BT test and click on the 'Further Diagnostics' button at the bottom of the page, to obtain the IP profile reported for your line.

Also, are you using a wired or wireless connection to the router?

Thanks for posting.
I'm sorry to say that your line is still banded, probably because of the previous fault on the line. I've moved your previous ticket over to our faults team for you and noted the situation. The unfortunate thing is that you may need another engineer to visit to get the banding removed. First though, we'll need to get the fault back to the relevant team at BTw. More details are on ticket 94469384.

Many thanks Tony.
There was some confusion as I raised a ticket but later called so I had two on the go, I didn't want to compound the issue.
Will follow up on the fault number given.
Cheers
