Effect of different types of download on pings

From about 19.30 to about 22.30 I was saturating my download
The interesting part is that the first part was downloading from Origin and the second part downloading from Steam and note the difference in maximum latency
Is it possible that the two downloads are treated differently by the Plusnet prioritisation
Note that the red bar at about 02.30 was the Plusnet profile updating I believe and the red block at the start was before I put in a decent VDSL router
