Eeeeeek SNR 0.1

Hi, my connection dropped earlier and has just returned.
I have just noticed my SNR is rather low at 0.1, so I'm not surprised it dropped!

Any chance of a tweak please?

Cheers

Re: Eeeeeek SNR 0.1

Hi @N7ck,

I'm sorry that you're having problems with your connection and for the delay in getting back to you on here.

I've tested your line and it's not showing a problem with the SNR margin specifically, but there is interference on the line and this will be affecting the performance on your side. The test hasn't picked up the cause of this from here so we'll need to do some troubleshooting to start ruling things out. Please let us know if this doesn't resolve the problem.

I'd recommend starting with basic checks here. If these checks don't resolve the problem, the next step would be to connect your router directly to the test socket, which is under the faceplate of your master socket and seeing if the connection stabilises. This rules out internal wiring, face plates and extension sockets as being the cause. Please see the following guide for instructions on how to connect to the test socket. https://community.plus.net/t5/Library/Testing-From-The-Master-Socket/ba-p/1322242

Re: Eeeeeek SNR 0.1

Yeah its fine now. By Saturday i think, it was back to normal level.

I don't know whether it reset itself of someone at Plusnet did something but its now around 4.

Since I've the connection it's been around 1-2, but for some reason it slowly started creeping down.

Thanks for checking though Wink
