Ebuyer Not Accesible

Hi, whenever i try to get on the http://www.ebuyer.com/ website in both Firefox "The connection was reset" & IE "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" the site does not load, i've notified them via their facebook page & i've seen others complaining of the same problem, i expect this is more of a server issue rather than Plusnet blocking the site, strange though that some can get access & others can't

Re: Ebuyer Not Accesible

Cannot access Ebuyer again after a change of IP Address to 87.115.x.x
This past couple of months it became accessible again when i was on the 146 range

Re: Ebuyer Not Accesible

Sounds like a routing issue. Try changing your dns servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on your device your browsing from and give it another shot

Re: Ebuyer Not Accesible

I reset my router to force another IP address, so now im on 146.199.194.x but Ebuyer is not accessible again
Rebooted router again so now im on 31.185.135.x & Ebuyer is not accessible, very odd, i have sent Ebuyer a pm via Facebook
Tried my tablet & no access on that either
I flushed the DNS in CMD
@blundey its not DNS related, i have tried auto (Plusnet), Google & other more obscure private / non logging ones (which i prefer) such as dns.watch, quite a good list here https://thesimplecomputer.info/a-list-of-dns-service-providers

Re: Ebuyer Not Accesible

Ebuyer don't seem to reply to ping's which is why it time's out.
Their website is loading fine for me.

Re: Ebuyer Not Accesible

If you put the IP address of 89.107.44.190 directly in to the address bar does it still not connect?

Re: Ebuyer Not Accesible

I would not worry about the trace route or ping results I get the same.
What happens if you put 89.107.44.190 in your browser.

Re: Ebuyer Not Accesible

Do you have any anti-virus software running?
Try disabling that and try connecting to the site again.
Edit. I see that it won't work on your tablet either.

Re: Ebuyer Not Accesible

I use Microsoft Security Essentials, i turned off Real Time Protection & it still does not load, as i say it did work when i last checked over Christmas (with MSE) as i bought a phone, i can get round it using OpenVPN but i shouldn't need to resort to that (plus its too slow)
