ECI Openreach modem use

Hi i am looking to upgrade to FTTC with plusnet and my use will be gaming, i recently purchased a 150 pound gaming router which i will use to apply features to my gaming experience and as such i need a 3rd party modem.
Iv purchased a cheap openreach modem its the ECI version ( B-focus v-2fub/r Rev B) but i dont seem to be able to access any Web GUI to be able to apply credentials once i am connected up with my order
Has anyone had a similar experience and how did you get your openreach modem configured please?

There's nothing to configure on the modem. Your credentials go in the router. You need to configure the WAN connection on the router for a PPPoE connection with your PlusNet username & password.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
