Re: ECI Cabinets

I have not lost it yet either. I have the same as you on the BTW DSL top speed achievable has drop from 42Mbps to 32Mbps, my speed was always near the bottom of the range though.

Re: ECI Cabinets

Seems to be still on here and 5 days ago had a resynch which seems to have lowered my snr to 3 and gave me a 10mbps jump in speed.
Seems stable and happy with that.

Re: ECI Cabinets

Still active on my line too and like dvorak a 3db target snr also seems to have been introduced.

The line resynced a couple of times in the AM of 26/8 when it changed and so far it is holding with a bit of margin to spare although a quick speed test seems to be a bit lower than I would expect for max sync - BT IP profile is fine so I wonder if the plusnet line profile is still a thing for static IPs?   I know the display page for it was removed from the portal at some point and although I see something now shown in the member centre under broadband I wonder if that is the same thing?

Re: ECI Cabinets

If you have a static IP then yes the Plusnet Profile is still a thing as they still use part of the old network for static where they don't for dynamic those don't use the Plusnet profile anymore.

Re: ECI Cabinets

Needed to reboot everything today and it looks like my SNR target is back up to 6db after holding steady at 3 since my last post.

I have seen the 3db margin before when the whole area had a power cut (including the cabs) so perhaps it was just a glitch or a firmware update on the cabinet that needed a restart and triggered it.   G.INP still active on the line and working fine so no issues other than that.

Re: ECI Cabinets

Reckon we've gone passed a half year of trials.

G.INP is still enabled even after a few modem reboots.

All figures are downstream only and in Mbps.
Unusually SNR still increases at approx 12-1am up to 6.5 and back down about 7-8am to 4.5.
Max rate increases from 66 up to 72 and back to 66. Increases and decreases are in line with SNR changes.
Connection rate remains constant at 66.56
BT IP Profile remains constant 64.36, device speed 57.

No errors, just a very stable line....

Re: ECI Cabinets

Re: ECI Cabinets

I know how you feel as my line was really stable.
It’s not to much of an issue as I should be able to order FTTP by the end of March so I will have to see how much it’s going to cost to get out of my contract as I will have four months left.
