Dynamic DNS Providers

Good evening chaps,
I'm still waiting for my router to be delivered so I can't check this one myself and the customer service team aren't too sure either.
I noticed on http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/hardware/technicolor-582n-advanced.shtml that there is a dropdown box for the service, yet only DynDNS is given as an example.
Could anyone tell me which dynamic DNS providers are supported on the 582N router?
Thanks in advance,
Bibblington

Re: Dynamic DNS Providers

Hope this helps. Also remember you can get a static IP with plusnet for a £5 one off fee.

Re: Dynamic DNS Providers

DuckDNS is a free service which can be configure quite easily on the TG582n.
https://duckdns.org/install.jsp
Most ddns can be configure on the router with some effort and the use of telnet.
eg http://npr.me.uk/telnet.html#updateddns

Re: Dynamic DNS Providers

You could always use a dynamic DNS client on a connected PC too - all providers have one available.

Re: Dynamic DNS Providers

I use DtDNS with a Technicolor router and haven't experienced any problems.
