Hello,
I recently purchased a TP-Link TD-W9970 modem/router and it has been connected to PlusNet Fibre Extra for 11 days without any errors. I have noticed however that my downstream current rate keeps getting worse daily, whilst my max rate keeps increasing.
Why is this happening, and can it be resolved?

Sorry to hear your speeds are dropping.
I've tested your line and I can see your router is synced to the cabinet at 44.4mbps which is above your estimates.
As such we can't investigate further as our suppliers wouldn't class this as a fault.

Thanks for replying Matthew.
I don't know why my estimate is so low because my sync rate with BT was ~58mbit before I moved to PlusNet recently.

It's possible that the dynamic line management software in the exchange put your connection on the 3db profile, which boosted your sync rate up. Upon migration to another provider, I believe a DLM reset is performed automatically.
If that is the case, 3db might return given time but it's sadly something we can't manually influence.
