Download Speed Decreased

Over the past couple/few months I've noticed a 20Mb hit on my download speed on all devices in my house for seemingly no reason. I've been on the service for a couple of years now and i've always had a download speed of 74Mb but now it's hovering around 50Mb (upload speed has remained the same)

I was just wondering if there was a way to figure out what may be causing this.

Sorry to hear that.

I've run tests on your line and they're showing your modem syncing at 64.5 mbps so you should be getting better then around 50.

Have you been testing over a wired connection or wireless connection?

Hi, thanks for replying! I've been testing over wired on my main PC.

I agree that 64Mb is better but this doesn't stay constant. I run tests on speedtest.net and even BT's wholesale and the speeds vary between 50-60 throughout the day, and I can never seem to get the maximum speed that I've always been getting these past couple of years.
