Re: Down to a crawl

No its not normal and the 10 day settling period does not apply to Fibre products, why Plusnet and others state this is beyond me as it is misleading as Fibre connections settle after 48 hours.

It might be worth raising a ticket.

Re: Down to a crawl

Im not surprised that the CS agent said that, they are economical with the truth at times(and im being polite there), the 10 day period only applies to ADSL and ADSL2+ connections and any mention of it on Fibre(or VDSL that Plusnet supply)should be removed as its incorrect.

Re: Down to a crawl

The 10 day training period is stated on the BT Broadband availability checker so it's no surprise that ISP's keep on repeating it.

Re: Down to a crawl

yes it does browni,,,,,,,,, i think the 10 day period seems an easy excuse when speeds are down or low
