I'm really close to the cabinet and using the plus net supplied router was getting 70+ down and 20 up. I then switched to using a Draytek 130 VDSL modem and my old router, but the Draytek had the wrong firmware on and seems to have got me stuck on a slower speed (50/14). I am back on the plus.net modem/router now:
3. Firmware version: Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.217.1.1 Last updated 02/03/16
4. Board version: Plusnet Hub One
5. DSL uptime: 7 days, 14:11:56
6. Data rate: 14910 / 54184
7. Maximum data rate: 14736 / 53762
8. Noise margin: 5.8 / 6.4
9. Line attenuation: 22.7 / 17.2
10. Signal attenuation: 22.9 / 17.2
Any idea how I can get back to my original speeds?

I suspect something else is the problem as with that reported attenuation there is no way you could get speeds of 70+ and it would indicate that you are a lot further from the cabinet than you think
