Hi
I was wondering do BT/Openreach send out Network engineers to investigate issues as opposed the hardware engineers who test for faults on the line with voice and data ?
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Most OR Engineers who do home\ business visits are competent in phone & BB issues; for complex problems, they may send out one of their SFI engineers (Special Faults Investigation). However, if fault is determined to be downside of their Master Socket ie your cabling, you'll have to pay.
