Do I really need to swop out my existing White BT Modem PSU ?

I have just received a new (white) BT Modem PSU and have been asked to replace it for the Black one that came with the modem due to a small risk of a component failure.
However, our (EARFCA) BT Modem, which was replaced a year or two ago, came with a White PSU, so do I still need to change it Huh

The new PSUs have been sent where customers have been identified as using one of the PSUs that need replacing, as your modem was completely replaced it may be that the data didn't take this in to account, however I'd suggest that just for completeness the PSU is changed.

That PSU contains the components that keep the nasty volts on the mains separate from  you & yours. If the manufacturer suggests you change it, I'd do so.
