My broadband kept dropping out so I raised a question and was emailed instructions of how to check. In order to proceed through various stages I had to select “my bt modem is green” if I didn’t it wouldn’t let me proceed but I don’t have one!
I clicked yes and continued to the next stage which asks me to connect on main socket with Ethernet cable and set up a Ppp0e connection and this is what I’m struggling with as my computer (it’s a MacBook) can’t find anything. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

@MagW I know what is going wrong, the PlusNet instructions are years out of date, not many customers are still using the BT Modems so you can't set up a PPPoE connection to the modem. I would reply on your ticket and ask for some more relevant diagnostic advice.☹️
