Beware that there is usually only one way that speeds go after initial connection and that is down, but hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones. Have you done the additional diagnostics test to get the IP profile?

Yes, did the additional diagnostic tests on the BTW site.
No difference
Apparently I am only the 2nd person to connect  this new cab as it inly became active this week
IS there a way to access stats from the router as I used to do with the old TG582n , or can I do that if I convert it to FTTC ?

IP Profile is 10.84Mbs
Download Speed 10.36Mbs
(this may seem slow to some people, but to me it is 10 x faster than previous ADSL)

Two (approximate) possible sync speeds, depending on the cabinet+modem combination.
Could be IP Profile x 1.033 or IP Profile x 1.034. So around 11.2Mbps.
