Devices keep disconnecting, will an alternate router fix this?

Hi all, I got my internet activated with Plusnet just over a week ago and it's not the most stable connection I've ever had. Signal strength is pretty great but I've noticed packet loss and disconnects as well.
I was on VoIP with my partner and it cut out a few times and took a few seconds to reconnect.
When viewing the event log I noticed it was disconnecting all my devices.
Will replacing the router with a third party resolve this issue possibly?

Hi there,
I think I've replied to you somewhere else today regarding this. If you can let us know how you get on after splitting the 2.4 and 5Ghz channels on the wifi that'd be great

You replied to me on FB thank you, I will update but I have just got myself a router to try and set up as an access point to see if that maintains stability
