Router lights are all on. Blue on the front.
I can connect to the router (I'm allocated an IP address) but I cannot even get to the router (192.168.1.254).
New router required?

If it's the Plusnet Hub 1 it should be: 192.168.1.254
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi @davelittlewood,
Your account is showing the connection is in sync and authenticated.
When you say you've switched the router off and back on, could you confirm if you've tried a full factory reset?
Are you having problems across multiple devices, or is this specific to one device?
Are you able to connect to the router via Ethernet cable at all?

@HarryB The OP was using the wrong address in his first post - he had wrote 192.168.1.1
MauriceC gave the correct IP of 192.168.1.254
The OP has edited his first post and removed the wrong address and changed it to the correct IP
This might be where your confusion is coming from.
Anyway, by design, the Plusnet Hub One will not respond to pings. You either have to flash it with a custom firmware (not for the faint hearted and you'd certainly lose any warranty) or put a dumb device into DMZ - examples are a Raspberry Pi (with some trickery) or a NowTV puck or even an IP enabled Blueray Player.
