I've just seen that now. I don't feel comfortable knowing there could be a charge for this visit, more so that there could be a charge if the equipment you provide is faulty?

Ah OK, we wouldn't charge you if the router's faulty as it's firstly under the 12 months warranty and also we issued it at the beginning of your contract so we'll replace it free of charge if it develops a fault within your contract term.
Also if you've tried plugging your router into the test socket, found behind the faceplate of the master socket, that should rule out any issues with the internal wiring of the property.
