Trying to add a bit of positivity in here. I've had zero problems browsing or on xbox live for a few days.
Not trying to rub it in but its nice to have some service as normal as the last two weeks had been dire.

I've responded to a few of the more recent posts below but I'm tempted to ask the mods to lock this thread. It's heading somewhat off topic, and the majority of the widespread issues last week have been resolved.
@themonk68 wrote:
Ive been told there is no issue when the modem randomly cuts out and reboots. Connection drops, websites dont load, cant upload to Facebook or through the facebook chat. Now games are affected, ping always shows as 41 to eu servers and even if i start a download and the game lags to a crawl ping never goes over 41 the game just cant read the connection...
Still having problems? Your connection looks to have been stable for the last 24 hours or so?
@themonk68 wrote:
Could someone at plusnet change my Ip? No matter what i do it always stays the same,
It looks like you have a static IP assignment at present. Why is it causing you problems? Given recent issues you're probably less inclined to experience issues with a static IP. I can remove it if you really want me too?
@MGSiN wrote:
Any info about this issue? Still having a hard time playing any multiplayer games whether wired or wireless, no changes I make seem to make a difference. Still on the 209.93 IP range after numerous attempts to change it.
The issues from last week (of which there were a few!) should be resolved now. At a glance, your circuit's disconnected a few times over recent weeks, but nothing that I'd expect would cause you too many issues
@Shermo wrote:
Trying to purchase games on xbox is impossible, But as soon as you use a vpn it works fine.
I responded to a similar query earlier today. Your issue is probably better suited to that thread.
@TheHorseman wrote:
My TBB BQM started to show packet loss from around 10am at approx 2-3%. Just after 4pm it increased to around 10%, it is currently 40% spiking to over 60%. I get the impression that all is not well with the 'New' network.
Ouch! Although I'm not sure that's down to the new network. Things over here don't look too shabby?
@nanotm, I'm interested to hear more about the ECI observation. Is there a separate thread somewhere where this is being discussed?
@Aly wrote:
Well I don't know about anyone else but my games are pretty unplayable right now. Just went on a bunch of TF2 servers I normally have no issues with. All the same stuttering but normal latency. Asked people in the servers if it's lagging.
Massive amounts of packet loss. Can't wait to be gone.
I don't think your experience is related to recent issues. Your line seems to be dropping in the evenings. Perhaps an idea to get a fault reported if you haven't already?

That's me doing that Bob, I come home from work and give it to restart to see if that will fix anything and re sync to see if another Gateway pops up but no we're all stuck on this one, and it's useless!

its an issue that's been ongoing for a while although I haven't seen any threads on here specifically talking about it I have seen them in other forums with a lot of info about the subject.

Fair enough. Can you let me know what it's like tonight? Can you also let me know roughly when things started deteriorating?
@themonk68 wrote:

Thanks for the clarification. I'm seriously confused though. There can't be many technical reasons that would cause your equipment to spontaneously reboot on one network but not the other
When did things start deteriorating for you?

I think I'm having this issue. Irregular but fairly frequent timeouts visiting websites. The browser gives up, but a refresh usually solves it. Also, getting disconnected when playing Destiny on PS4 (PS4 has a wired connection). I am on I am on 51.*.*.* IP range
Here's an output of traceroute (though it's from OSX, so slightly different output to windows. I believe line of asterisks still means timeout):

Paid for the static IP, fixed everything. Definitely something up with the new network still.
Also got a note back from support saying there are no faults on the line...so what is it then?

I've had similar problems for the past months & I'm on a static IP. First issue was the Plusnet DNS servers, changing them to google DNS servers improved things no end. But it still keeps dropping out every day or so, connection is stable but it loses internet connectivity. I think I've traced it it oa fault in my DLINK router that sits behind the plusnet fibre modem. A quick unofficial chat with their engineers (I used to work there) confirms they have seen issues with their routers in this area.......and it's not limited to the DLINK routers since most of the far-eastern mfrs. get their routers from the same factory supply. So try swpping out your router if you can find a spare replacement & see if that helps.....

How long have you been experiencing problems? You've been on the new network and assigned a 51.6.0.0/16 IP for well over a month now.
Here's an output of traceroute (though it's from OSX, so slightly different output to windows. I believe line of asterisks still means timeout):
Can't see any issues there. The early timeouts are expected and latency looks fine through our network.

That's interesting. Assuming a few days of stability, would you be adverse to me removing your static IP to see if the problems resurface? I'll happily reinstate it after a period of testing and don't mind reimbursing you the cost of the static IP for your troubles.

Is there any chance I can get someone to have a look at my line and see how it is?
I filed a support ticket at the start of the week and I've heard nothing. I'm still getting regular packet loss every evening. Makes visiting some websites/playing games frustrating beyond belief.

Well im starting to have severe issues once again for the last 24 hours, streaming services with constant buffering, voip and online gaming nearly impossible and showing the symptoms of severe packet loss.
And of course VPN fixes everything, for [-Censored-] sakes Plusnet fix your god damn [-Censored-], this has been going on for a month now.
