well I have been getting random pages return unreachable destination for months ever since the last major DNS server outage, I changed the dns servers in the wake of that trouble but have continued to get odd pages returning the 500 error although the last few weeks its been more frequent and earlier it was happening on every page.
then I used the ip change I mentioned and the majority of websites started to be found although ha few are still totally unreachable and many are on a go slow ....

Yes I've talked about switching to BT. None of my friends had any of the issues that started 2 weeks ago which I was suffering, and yes I know the issue reported back then is to do with PN only.
MY friends were only affected by today's issue which has already cleared up for them, but for me I'm still stuck with constant time out's and very slow loading.
PN are still trying to fix a problem that cropped up 2 weeks ago, BT already fixed the problem they created for themselves and PN today, after a few hours.
Few hours < 2 weeks, That's what I'm getting at.

@NoZephy We ran a quick check against your line which indicates you may have a copper line fault. Suggest that you raise a fault: http://faults.plus.net or contact customer services to raise one for you.

Few hours > 2 weeks - X problem > Y problem
What actual problems are you having right now as everything has been supposedly fixed?

NoZephy - testing your line is showing a potential fault, can you report that to us at https://faults.plus.net as your issues may not be related to the ones in this thread.

Bt has sorted there's and plusnet still haven't after a minimum of 2 weeks onto the 3rd. It's pathetic, they pride themselves on service and customer support but it has been lacking big time.
Took over a week to own up to the fault, and it's still not fixed all the while we are all getting charged for a service we ain't getting. Plusnet have been going downhill, 6 years ago when I first joined they were the real deal and professional, now they are the same as all the others ie talk talk, sky etc. Shame they had something good

Line stats look fine for me, what's the fault exactly?
I'm asking because I don't really want an engineer to come out, reset the line and then have an even worse sync than before which is something I see a lot on a wide variety of forums.

It get's worse.
I just called (and spoke to a nice chap who was very helpful I must add for fairness of balance) because my speeds are now down to 6mb down (Usually get over 70) and because I had notification of my bill payment, which seemed really high.
It appears I was charged £5 for my Static IP that 1. I was told would be free. 2. They never actually applied.......
Being refunded that plus all broadband charges for 8th - 29th July (my leave date) inclusive.
Now I am pleased this chap sorted that really quickly and without issue, but even more annoyed now to find out I was charged for a static IP I was told would be free and never even got. What on earth is going on?!?

Something is still wrong, currently my TBB BQM is showing packet loss around 30% with a spike to 80%.

@04mike91, Is the IP address still correct. If like me you are on a dynamic IP then when it changes the BQM will show 100% packet loss.
