Three days ago my internet connection appeared not working. The OneHub was showing connected with blue light on. I did some troubleshooting and by changing the DNS setting on my devices from automatic to manual by providing the OpenDNS addresses everything worked fine. This morning I experimented and replaced the OpenDNS addresses with the Plusnet ones and everything worked fine. This is rather bizarre as if the devices use the automatic DNS setting (ie forward by the router 192.168.1.254 as the default) nothing seems to be working.
Any thoughts? Could it be my OneHub is faulty? Or is this a Plusnet issue?
