DLM since upgrade to Fibre Extra

Hi all,


Hoping someone from Plusnet can help me!

I've recentlu upgraded from 40Mb to 80Mb FTTC - since the regrade (as in, immediately since the resync) I seem to have had DLM imposed on my line.  Sync is at 72Mb with an SNR of 6dB.  I seem to be getting zero errors so not sure why DLM has suddenly activated.

 

I have already raised a ticket - 194100849.  Would it be possible to have DLM lifted and to be put on the 3dB profile please?

Hi, when you switched to the Fibre extra package the DLM settings got reset to defaults this is normal, so you went from a 3db profile to the default 6db profile reducing the speed a little.

Sadly DLM is a Automated process plusnet can't change the profile themselves, DLM will make the change back to the 3db Profile but it will take a little time as to how long varies and is up to DLM it can be a couple of days or a couple of weeks sometime longer it's a waiting game i'm afraid, just keep an eye on it.

My line has now resycned to 80Mb now, however it seems I'm still on a 66Mb "profile" so I still only get 66Mb down?

 

Will this profile be moved up to 80Mb automatically or is this something that Plusnet need to change?
