I would be most grateful if someone could do a line check for me. My current line speed has dropped from the middle 60's to 48.2Mb.
According to my account : Estimated line speed: 80Mb (This may vary between 64Mb and 80Mb) - Checked on 2017-11-12 17:50:01
Current line speed: 48.2 Mb which is well below the minimum estimated line speed of 64Mb.

Sorry to hear that.
Our tests aren't showing any cause for this but I can see that your speeds have dropped.
I'd recommend raising a fault here so we can take a further look.

I have now had my router plugged into the test socket for over 17 hours as requested by the CSC Analyst yesterday.
I would be most grateful if, as a matter of urgency, you would re-test my line as I would like to plug my telephone back in!

I have retested your line and looks like there are still no improvements, you can plug everything back as it was now thank you.
I have updated your Fault Ticket (Ticket: 164569375), could you please let me know once you have replied to my response and I will pick this us for you.

I would like to give a big thank you to Plusnet and LB in particular for resolving my speed issues in such a timely manner.
The BTO engineer found a couple of faults and rectified these very quickly.
My speed has increased significantly - I am, once again, a very happy bunny!
I am aware that BTO come in for a great deal of adverse publicity, but, in my case, I can't fault them.
