Crazy up/down speed options

Over time I have seen my 80/20 fibre connection speed reducing as more subscribers are moved over to fibre on my cabinet (allegedly).

Now connecting at 56/16.

After going through the fault/engineer route and the conclusion being "that's all you're going to get now"

I have enquired about what PN could do for me as a very long-standing customer - to reduce the cost of my somewhat unused 80/20 unlimited package by changing to something that would maximise what I can currently receive.

We can offer a 40/2 package. Not fast enough I said (2mbs upload - you must be kidding! I'm currently getting and use to full extent my 15mbs) - well you can stay where you are and pay for the unlimited or go to 40/2.

What sort of an option is that?

Come on PN you can do better that that surely? There must be an option of a capped 80/20 profile for people (lots of them I'm sure) in the same boat as me.

I'm looking forward to a constructive reply.

I have been with PN a long long time (originally with F9 in the early days) and I don't want to leave!

Everybody that signed up for 40/20 has now been moved to 55/10. Why they don't sell this as it sits perfectly in the middle...

As I said in my previous post the 55/10 was just for those who contracted for the standard fibre when it was 40/20. It is not available to any other current users or new customers.

I'm afraid there's nothing more I can add that hasn't already been discussed surrounding this. The packages we offer are based on wholesale 40/2 or 80/20 offerings now.
