Hello,

Could someone please check my profile? I was happily using a 50mb connection.. I wanted a static IP address so I upgraded. Waited 15 minutes and restarted the router. Static IP address applied, but my internet is now capped at 20Mb.

BT Speedtest result:

Hi Steve 

I have had a similar problem since the 40/20 - 55/10 fiasco.

PN have been bouncing the problem to BT.

However I noted that several users suffering dns issues & packet loss elsewhere on the forum had these resolved by changing to a static address however their speed was immediately restricted to you guessed it 20mbps

I don't know if it is a Plusnet problem but it needs sorting pronto

Someone on Live chat has just fixed the problem. They said my settings were wrong and they have adjusted it. 

They told me to restart the router and it should improve within 1-2 hours. Hopefully all sorted!
