Contract ending

Hi there, I will be leaving plusnet and received an email about a termination fee, why is there a termination fee when on the previous email about renewing my contract it say this.

 

"This does not take account of any call plans or discounts you may have. If you decide to leave before the end of your current contract you can do so without paying any early termination fees by getting in touch with us on 0800 587 1942 and giving 14 days’ notice."
