Content Filtering

Hi All,

My Content filter is active for the standard type sites however, I can still get to them.

This is active due to tech savvy children but although active is not working.

Any ideas short of calling Plusnet?

Thanks

Theo

Re: Content Filtering

Fix

Hi Theo,

Have you updated the DNS in your router settings to the following?

Primary DNS: 213.120.234.42

Secondary DNS: 213.120.234.38

Re: Content Filtering

Thanks Anoush,

I do utilise an internal DNS server and configured my Draytek router to point at that first then Google as a second.

Swapped out Google DNS address and presto, working once again.

For reference for all, I also have an external static IP address and the above works but you will need to change any internal static IP address DNS setting and any Router / Server DHCP setting to reflect 213.120.234.42 / 38 as a DNS route.

Thanks you Smiley

Theo
