Constant drop out

Hi All
Been with plusnet for a year now and it’s always been pretty reliable but the last few weeks it’s gone terrible. It’s literally dropping out hourly. Checked all connections but we had a new line box put in when we moved to the new house but just seems to be the last few weeks? Any help is appreciated as it’s driving us crazy as we all stream. Cheers Mike

Re: Constant drop out

Connect corded telephone to the master socket; any noise on the line (check by dialling 17070 then option 2). Of noise, repeat test on test socket on master socket. If noise is present then it's an external fault and should be reported to voice supplier.

Thanks buddy, the new socket does not have a master on it but will try with the phone to see if there’s any noise but I suspect you are correct and it will reporting

Re: Constant drop out

Ok,

on on the master socket how many ports do you have? One for voice and 1 for data? Or just one? Can you post a pic or link to a pic? Nest step is to rule out internal wiring in house causing any issues.....

Hi
It’s got two ports, one for data and one for voice. Will try to take a picture
