Connection keeps dropping - intermittant

hi, I read in the service updates that there is some BT maintenance happening this week but is between midnight and 6am.

We have been having drops out throughout the days this week and evening.

Anyway I can check all is ok on my line?

Hi there, I've tested your line and my tests aren't detecting any problems.

 

Your connection from the exchange to your router also seems pretty stable:

Are you using a wired or wireless connection?

From when I joined the Plusnet Help Team in May 2017 my main Community account is @Gandalf.

thanks Anoush. That;s good to know.

We;ve recently changed router/modem to an archer vr900 v2 and when disconnects occurred the DSL status was changed from connected to connecting.

If nothing is actually being dropped at BT end it must be the router. All appears to be ok since I posted but I'll check the firmware and update this post if it occurs again.

If it carries on can you try using the old router again and seeing if the same issues occur?
