Connection dropping

For the past month I've been experiencing problems with my connection where the connection drops, the DSL light goes out on the open reach modem. When this happens it doesn't come back for between a few hours and several days.

Had fibre broadband for 3 years and never had an issue until the last month. A BT engineer has already been out and swapped the modem and checked my wiring.

Could someone please look into this?

Re: Connection dropping

Hi there,

I can see that since you wrote this post, an engineer has been booked for tomorrow. Hopefully they'll be able to shed a bit more light on the situation. Let us know how you get on.

Re: Connection dropping

Engineer didn't turn up on Saturday after I waited in from 1pm - 6pm. Called to chase and was told it was a resourcing issue and that a new appointment would be booked asap, then received a test to say it was on hold until Monday.

Rang this morning "Monday" to chase and was told that they couldn't book an engineer again until open reach take it off hold so they would keep refreshing it.

Meanwhile I'm still without internet.
