Connection dropping once a day

Hello was wondering if someone can help me please my router seems to be loosing connection 1 once per day. thanks

 

My router is directly plugged into the master socket.

@mike360 Couple of points - Gandalf is not in until Wednesday, and it is ill-advised to 'piggy-back' another users topic - it causes confusion, and makes the topic hard to follow.

@mike360 In the absence of @Gandalf , could you post the Help desk tab from your router - presumably a Hub1? - it may give us a clue. Obscure/remove any personal details though.

@adam945 i sent a message for my question #214373711 but il copy and paste may get faster response on here 

Thanks for your reply I've noticed the trouble started on Tuesday 11/5 at around 11pm, at that time we were having a lighting storm and the connection time on the graph from 11pm to next morning the router I was using died. just to update that i have changed the dsl filter just incase lighting did any damage to it.

The line tests which I've conducted on my end today have shown no fault with the network, which is why I have sent you our guide to troubleshoot your connection. you can also try plugging your router directly into the test socket which lies behind the face plate of your master socket. If the issues persist following that, please raise this with our Technical Support Team by heading over to faults.plus.net

Mike - just rechecking your Help Desk report - can I suggest you change the 2.4Ghz to whichever of 1, 6 or 11 is least congested.

@adam945 hi the router is always connected to the test socket and test earlier there was a electrical interference is that gone now I've changed filter or is it still showing. Thanks

@jab1 those channels are congested (WiFi analyzer app) only just get away with c13

My suggestion to not use 13 is because it is outside the 'normal' range and may cause problem. I would still suggest going for the best of 1/6/11 - but it is up to you.

@mike360 - The line test which I conducted this morning did appear to show interference observed on the line on a daily basis. Our test indicates that the source of this interference is at the Customer Premises.
