Connection down since yesterday

Hi,
I reported a fault with my connection yesterday. I was explained this was due to local fault and that it would've been fixed by 5pm yesterday. My connection is still down.
Could you please provide update, as I couldn't get through to the call centre?

Sorry to hear your connection was down.
I've carried out some remote work which should have sorted this.

Was this the stale session problem or something else
If stale session is there anything the customer can do to fix it

This was the stale session problem and we are currently investigating why its happening. As far as I'm aware there isn't the customer can do to resolve this but the CSC should be aware. I've fed back on the agent in question who advised incorrectly.
