Connection Bogging Down

Any Chance someone can have a look at my connection please.

2 iperf3 tests below, first test showing the lan card in my laptop not bogging down over my lan to my router, with the second test showing the WAN test bogging down with an iperf3 test from a 10 gigabit server. Also I've popped a screenshot of the Wan side bogging down from TBB below. Changed all cables and ran tests DIRECT with laptop to 2 different modems today with the same results every time.

Re: Connection Bogging Down

Are you complaining about the 2 to 3 seconds it took for the transfer to reach full speed?

Obviously a LAN connection to your router will have much lower latency than to a server on the Internet, so of course a LAN transfer will speed up quicker.

Have you tested a different computer?

Re: Connection Bogging Down

Yes I am.

@ejs Does your connection take 2 seconds to get upto full speed on a TBB test ?

I've never had this sort of slowdown on TBB, yes I'll admit some times It's at best inconsistent speed wise, but not slow to respond.

Re: Connection Bogging Down

@ejs Does your connection take 2 seconds to get upto full speed on a TBB test ?

I don't know, don't care, and am not going to measure it, for various reasons including not stopping everyone and everything else using the Internet so I can run tests all evening.

Re: Connection Bogging Down

@30FTTC06 could be related to the stuff going on on this thread: https://community.plus.net/t5/Fibre-Broadband/Odd-TBB-test/td-p/1393324/jump-to/first-unread-message

What's the MTU set to on your router and the device you're doing the testing on?
