Connecting to some sites but not others?

Sites the family have used for months now go to  plus net home page instead.
 
uh oh we cant show this page right now etc
 
Just went to pay the council tax bill online and got the same thing,this is for wired and wireless.

Hi there, 

It sounds like it might be a problem with cookies. 

You should have an option in your browser settings to delete the cache of cookies and temporary internet files, I'd be surprised if that doesn't sort it.

There's usually a way in the settings to do this. 

I may not be able to guide you through step by step but if you can let us know what make and model of TV it is we'll see what we can find out.

I've not been able to identify a series 5 TV on the Hisense website but I'd still have a look here for the appropriate manual, unless that is you have a paper copy of it to check https://hisense.co.uk/support/

The problem seems to be with the broadband.All devices(,ipad,phone,pc,tv)in the home are having problems accessing certain sites.

Ive just spoken with someone at foxxum appstore which is on my smart tv.

Ok, the Foxxum Tv store is web based and therefor is trying to open a internet connection. That there is a page showing up from your ISP indicates that there is a problem with your broadband service

I have restarted the router but nothing has changed on any of the devices.

Why would a Plusnet problem show the Talk Talk home page?

Was meant to be plusnet not talk talk.

*i have just factory reset the hub to see if that changes anything*
