Connecting BT SmartHub A router to PlusNet

Plusnet router is poor and have been assured can use my BT SmartHub A router. However really struggling to set this up - Can anyone help please?

@janduggy Welcome to the forum.

Take particular note of when to plug in the DSL lead. Let us know if you have problems.

Plugged in DSL lead (have open reach box so haven't needed a filter)... but just can't connect through the BT advanced settings...

Take a look at my post 41 here

Do not plug in the DSL line until you have altered your passwords etc and are ready to connect.
Do not use any odd characters for your password either the BT Router will not accept !@£$%^&*()_ . etc
If you have a brand new BT Smart hub then a reset should not be necessary.
