Confirming an upgrade order is in the works...?

We placed a product change request via the member portal on 14/12/14 for a FTTC upgrade - but just wondering if / how I can find some sort of confirmation that it's lined up to happen?
Was expecting to see a ticket appear in our account with details or something similar, but other than one email confirming an engineer appt request  for 22/12, I've not had anything else.
Anyone have any ideas? Is this normal... ? Do we just wait for the 22nd and see if an engineer turns up?

Hi there.
I can confirm that the order is on our suppliers systems and the engineer is due to visit on the 22nd.
From what I can see you haven't taken a router from ourselves so I'm assuming you'll be using your own?

Hi Matthew, that's great - thanks for confirming.
Fingers crossed the engineer turns up.
We have a BT Home Hub 5 which I'm planning to use for the connection along with a backup plan in the form of another router to connect to the Openreach modem.
