I have now replaced both routers with a Cisco 887VA and configured it the best I can however the best speed I can get is about 18mb down and 3-4mb up.
It's like it's an ADSL connection and not fibre! As soon as I plug the old routers in then I get full speed again.
Could somone please look at my config below and please advise,
Thanks
Shayne

Changing this makes no difference to the speed so far

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

atm vc-per-vp 128
no atm ilmi-keepalive
pvc 0/38
oam-pvc 0
encapsulation aal5mux ppp dialer
This made it worse and was down to 5mb down / 300k up so these settings are having an effect. Does anyone know what the PVC settings are for VDSL/FIBRE ?

Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree but reverting back to the Openreach/Plusnet kit and then leaving things alone for a while might be an idea worth thinking about.

Quote interface Dialer0
description Infinity
mtu 1508
Did you try a MTU of 1492 ?
That's the ususal size for VDSL2 and matches the mss of 1452
