Cessation charge

Hello

I have just received my latest Bill and it shows my having to pay a £20 cessation charge. I've checked the reason why this is happening and I can confirm I cancelled my BT account and switched straight to Plusnet. Therefore I should not have to pay the cessation charge, Can this be sorted out for me please?

Regards.

Re: Cessation charge

Who is charging you £20? If it is plusnet and you have just joined it can't be a cessation charge. Is it BT trying to charge you for cancelling?

Fix

Hi

My latest bill is £39.48. I've just been in touch with Plusnet and they've said that the cessation charge is if I cancel. It seems that my bill includes call charges but I thought the call charges were included in anytime.

Re: Cessation charge

Welcome to the community forums @Nezzac.

Looking at your account with the invoice for £39.48, I can't see any mention of a cessation charge or call charges.

You can view your invoices and a breakdown of the invoices here and you can view your itemised phone bill here.

I hope this clears things up.
