Capped at 40mbps

Hello,

I recently signed up for FTTC as soon at it became available for my property. I am now 7 days in (not the full 10 day training period I know) but my speeds seem lower than expected.

Speed tests on day one showed speeds of close to 80mpbs with uploads of 19mbps however this has turned in to downloads of 38mbps and uploads of 9mbps. My sync rates, as reported by my router, are: Down Stream : 79997Kbps / Up Stream : 19999Kbps.

My PlusNet account reports my current speed as 40mbps and the BT wholesale test shows my attainable down at 20mbps and up at 20mbps.

If it makes any difference it is a business connection although used for personal use only.

I'm sorry to hear that and appreciate the concern. I've had a colleague check this for you and it appears the connection profile was listed incorrectly here so this has been amended. A reboot of your router should correct what you're seeing on screen.
