Can you increase my IP Profile speed please...

Hello,
I had a line issue (noisy line) which caused my IP Profile (and sync) to drop gradually over the past few weeks...
I have now (hopefully) resolved the line noise problem, and my sync speed has increased significantly (from about 15000 to about 53000), however, my IP Profile is still showing as (about) 19000 (or so)...
Can you please increase my IP profile, so that I can get the full speed from my Fibre connection...

I've done that for you now, so should be sorted within 24 hours.
Please let me know if you don't see an increase in speed and I'll look into this for you further.

You shouldn't need to but there's no harm in doing so if you want to prompt the router to re-sync.

Hello Dave,
Just checking my IP Profile on the BT Speedtest diagnostic, and my IP Profile for my line is still 19.36
Should it have increased overnight? or will it increase later today sometime?

On the Plusnet page it says:

Current line speed:37 Mb
However, if I check via the BTWholesale speedcheck site (the one I was asked to check with), my throughput is only about 14-15Mb (as checked by the BT Wholesale site and by checking various download speeds) and the IP Profile for the line is set at 19.36 (as shown by the diagnostic check on the BTWholesale site), which is obviously limiting the speed my line will work at...
How do I get my line IP Profile raised?

Hi Kevin. Our tests are showing your IP profile correct:
Profile Name | 0.128M-40M Downstream, Interleaving Low - 0.128M-10M Upstream, Error Protection Off |
It looks like the problem is a bit bigger than this.
Your router is in sync at quite a low speed.
Sync Status | In Sync |
Downstream Speed | 18.0 Mbps |
Upstream Speed | 7.1 Mbps |
If you've tried plugging your router into the test socket as explained here then we'll need to raise a broadband fault with our suppliers and arrange an engineer visit. You can start the process at http://faults.plus.net

This is a screenshot of my BTWholesale diagnostic result
I am actually using the test socket now, and have been for the past 24 hours...It has eliminated the line noise I had on my telephone line, but hasn't improved the connection speed any though...
But I will raise a fault via that link...
