Can't ask a simple question via your support site when OOH!!!

Spent 30 minutes mainly on hold earlier this evening to see if I could simpifly my fibre setup by geting the Hub One. No....I'm not paying £106.99 for one as its not worth it but if the CS representative looked into our account they may have noticed the amount of issues we had before we finally were given fibre. I said I was willing to sign up to another 18/24mth contract if I could get One reduced. Was told I can upgrade within 2 months of July.......and I don't doubt I'd find a cheaper provider by then without the unreliable history. Can anything be done to simplyfy our setup with a Hub One?

The hub one would replace the BT modem and router, consolidating them into one box - if that's what you mean by simplifying?

Hub Ones are rebranded BT HomeHub 5As - you'd get one cheaper on Ebay.
There's a lot of alternative all in one box solutions - you need a combined VDSL modem/Router. See http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/topic,14436.0.html
For a similar price to what you are being asked for the Hub One you'd get a far better VDSL router.
