i assumed this was how the team kept track of the status of updates to fault tickets as sometimes they get missed.

Fault tickets shouldn't ever get missed as any responses should go back to a faults workflow for a faults trained adviser to pick up which is normally within 3 working days though your particular ticket is in the Priority Escalated queue (as we've raised an escalation with our suppliers) which means that this queue is prioritised and worked first above other fault queues.

When you've been nudging us over here, we've generally just been picking up the ticket sooner (and happy to continue doing so). I can see we got another engineer booked in for this morning, the brief notes we've received so far indicate a potential faulty port at the cabinet. We'll update you when we've received more information.
